Who we are
This website is operated by CyprusRide.com (Ayia Napa, Cyprus). Contact: info@cyprusride.com.
What data we process and why
- Bookings: name, e-mail, phone, home address (country, region, city, postcode, street), ID card or passport number, driving licence number, flight number, accommodation, driver age group, rental dates, locations and your message. We need these to handle your booking and the rental contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). ID and licence numbers are stored encrypted. Booking records are kept as long as required by accounting and tax law.
- E-mails: we send booking confirmations and messages related to your booking to the e-mail address you gave us.
- Statistics (only with your consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)): pages viewed, time on site, vehicles viewed, searched rental length, device type, browser and referring website. Stored only on our own server, never shared or sold, deleted after 26 months. We do not store your IP address in the statistics.
- Server logs: for security, the web server may log technical data (IP address, time, requested page) for a short period.
Third parties
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own server. Links to partner websites open their own site, where their own privacy policy applies; we only count that the link was clicked.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw your consent at any time (via "Cookie settings" below). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Cyprus: the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection).
